The Skills Upgrading Centre provides free customized training programs to assist adults in improving their employment prospects, preparing for a higher education, and acquiring the skills they need for a successful future.

PROGRAM TYPE: Community Based

SERVING: Anglophone

REGISTRATION PROCESS: Contact us to register. During registration we will gather information, assess skills level and identify strengths and areas of development. We will design a training plan that fits the student's life and learning goals and we help all students track their progress as they learn.

INTAKE: Ongoing

ELIGIBILITY: 19+, Ontario residents with a Grade 12 education or less. Canadian Language Benchmark minimum level of 6. Some programs have an income eligibility component.

ACCESS: Open By Appointment Only We will continue to offer online learning for all of our programs for those who can work remotely. During this time, we will not permit walk-in visitors. You must have an appointment. Masks or face coverings are mandatory and must be worn while visiting the Centre. (If you do not have one, a mask can be provided.) You will be required to answer health screening questions prior to your visit. Measures have been taken to adhere to physical distancing regulations and maintain a safe learning environment for everyone. ​
