Hospitality Workers Training Centre (HWTC)
HWTC provides FREE training to individuals looking to get into the Hospitality industry and provide post program employment supports.
HWTC gets you job ready in 3 weeks! They currently have two training programs available; Restaurant Ready, and Fast Track. Both of these training programs are designed for anyone to gain entry level positions in a restaurant. They teach soft skills, technical training and provide certifications such as Smart Serve and/or Food Handler's Certificate.
Once training is complete, their employment specialists will work with the individual to assist with job placements and/or employment opportunities. Their programs and services are free and are open to all individuals who meet the eligibility requirements.

INTAKE: The programs are ongoing and change with the needs of the industry and employment partners..
ELIGIBILITY: 15+ and older. Unemployed or underemployed, lives in Ontario , has S.I.N – Social Insurance Number / Work Permit, is able to stand for long periods at a time, able to bend, push, pull and lift up to 30 pounds (13kg) ,English language level: CLB 6 , has Basic Computer Knowledge (Online program Components), is able ble to work days and evenings and weekends
