Bradford Learning Centre - Simcoe County District School Board

The Bradford Learning Centre offers no cost upgrading and courses for adults wanting to get their Grade 12 Diploma or improve skills for better job opportunities.  

We offer several preparation courses and short term professional development workshops such as Personal Support Worker (PSW) prep, Credit course prep, Digital and Computer Skill Basics for Work or School, Employability Skills (Soft Skills employers are looking for), Personality Dimensions, Work Ready and Managing Your Anxiety and Mental Wellness. 

We offer face to face classroom support as well as remote options which can include connecting with Instructors through virtual meetings, texting, phone calls, elearning and paper-based options as well.

We work with you to offer you options for your upgrading, including assessing your current skills, education options based on your transcript (if you have one) and your goals.  We also provide referrals to other community resources and programs based on your needs and goals.

REGISTRATION PROCESS: Contact our Learning Centre at your convenience to talk to our Coordinator about your options.  

INTAKE: We offer continuous intake for most of our programs year round.  We offer summer and evening options.  We work with your schedule and your learning style.  Some programs have a start date, but most can be started when you are ready to start. 

ELIGIBILITY: 19 years and over, but we offer programs for youth 17 and 18 years with some exceptions.

ACCESS: In person options change as the Covid protocols evolve.  Currently our doors are locked to the public unless you have an appointment so please contact us before coming to the Centre. We follow all the Health Unit Safety Protocols.
